The one-of-a-kind exhibition drag-racing “Cool Bus,” built by Ken Nelson, crashed at last month’s O’Reilly Thunder Jam. Luckily, Ken was uninjured. Let’s take a closer look at the “Cool Bus” and video of the crash… there’s two more videos after the jump.

How much abuse will the engine in a Nissan GT-R take? Not a 150 shot of NOS on top of 600 wheel HP, that’s for sure.

It looks like someone either forgot to tighten some suspension bolts, or this thing is making way more horsepower than the rear end can handle.

Clay Millican, the four-time defending IHRA Top Fuel champion at the time of this photo, experienced a complete blowover in his semifinal round against Bruce Litton. Millican was traveling at over 200 miles per hour when the front wheels of his ‘05 Hadman Dragster lifted off the ground at half track and did not stop. He ended up blowing all the way over before skidding well past the finish line before coming to a stop upside down.

IHRA safety personnel arrived at the scene within seconds and Millican climbed out of the car almost immediately. He was talking with the safety crew and the track doctor and was reportedly cutting up with the paramedics en route to the hospital, where he was taken as a precautionary measure.
